How do I choose the right gland or cleat for my cable? You need to consider factors like:
  • Cable type (armoured, screened, flexible, etc.) Cable diameters OD, ID depending on the cable type
  • Environmental conditions (indoor, outdoor, corrosive, hazardous area)
  • Required IP rating (ingress protection)
  • Whether flameproof or low-smoke properties are needed
We can advise - just send us the specs (cable type, environment, required IP rating) and we’ll recommend the correct component.

Do your products meet industry standards?Yes. We comply with ISO 9001 QA standards. Many of our cable glands (e.g. CCG E1EX, UNITEX D) are certified to ATEX/UKEX / IECEx standards for hazardous areas. Our cable cleat range is tested to BE EN61914 and trefoil cleats are also short circuit tested as part of this standard.

Can I get custom or non-standard parts?Yes, for many products we can accommodate special bespoke or custom orders (size, material, certification). For anything unusual, just contact our technical team.

What does “free standard delivery on orders £100 and over” mean?It means for UK orders with a subtotal ≥ £100 (before VAT and discounts),we’ll waive the standard delivery fee.
